Chapter Summary

This front matter section of the book Christian-Muslim Relations: A Bibliographical History contains the table of contents, list of abbreviations and a foreword. The book is the third volume of a general history of relations between Christians and Muslims as this is recorded in written sources. The intention of this project is to include within its scope documented accounts of all the known works written by Christians and Muslims about one another and against one another. The chapters in the book cover the works that are of main importance to Christian- Muslim relations but do not fit easily into the format adopted for entries on individual works. The project was funded by a grant made by the Arts and Humanities Research Council of Great Britain, which is acknowledged with gratitude.
