Chapter Summary

This appendix of the book contains a list of publications of De Regimine Principum of Giles of Rome. This book deals with the different translations into Old French of Giles of Rome's De Regimine Principum (1279) and their readership. It establishes a census of all the manuscripts containing a French translation of the Treaty of Giles of Rome. For each of them, particular attention has been paid to the various elements (materials, shapes, production sites, reading marks, brands possession) that allow one to reconstruct their history. The purpose of this book is, on the basis of a review of manuscripts, to place the different French translations in their general context and understand the historical and social conditions of their transmission and dissemination. For that purpose, one can consider the manuscript in both its material and intellectual dimension. The original text of the chapter is in French.
