This chapter presents short descriptions, data on the distribution, reproduction and natural history of the species of family Rhinatrematidae now known for the country. It discusses on the species Rhinatrema Bivittatum. Max length of the species is 213 mm, width 8 mm. The body is somewhat depressed. Nostrils are found at the end of the snout and are not visible dorsally. The tentaculaire hole is just anterior of the eye. The eyes are visible. The mouth is terminal. There are primary, secondary and tertiary groups of body rings present.
