Chapter Summary

This appendix of the book International Environmental Governance: Towards UN Environment Protection Organization (UNEPO) contains selected primary documents that provide reference value for intergovernmental processes that became milestones for the international environmental governance (IEG). Effort was made to find the rarely available original instruments and include them year-wise (latest being the first) as they provide progressive account of the marathon IEG process during 1997 to 2013 period. Some of the documents are the General Assembly Resolution 67/290; UN GA Resolution of 67/251, 13 March 2013; UNEP GC as First Universal Session 27/2, 22 February 2013; the General Assembly Resolution 67/213 21 December 2012, UNEP Governing Council Twelfth Special Session Decision SS.XII/3, 20-22 February 2012; and the Nairobi-Helsinki Outcome, 23 November 2010.
