Chapter Summary

The Saviour taught mutual love, to do good even to one's enemies. Many of Saviour's disciples teach and inculcate mutual hatred, and that one should not keep one's word or promises to those that have a slightly different opinion from the one they wish them to have, which leads to the ruin of empires or states. Theology is a part of natural science. God can only be worshipped by acting rationally. Adriaan Koerbagh's rational religion is intended to contribute to a free, peaceful and liberal society.
