Chapter Summary

Spiritus sanctus, Holy Ghost is said to be the third substance in the divine beings. It is further said to have been derived from the Father and the Son, and is also said to be our comforter and to lead us in all truth. As the Holy Ghost is the most perfect gift that comes from God, from whom all good gifts and perfect endowments come, and to be endowed with it by God is to be endowed with reason and an enlightened mind. After all we have to judge, through reason, enlightened mind and knowledge, between one thing from the other, and between good and evil.
