This chapter presents articles based on constitutional provisions, human rights related legislation, penal code provisions, non-discrimination, and equality bodies/ombudsman. The articles presented in the chapter relate to diverse issues such as human rights, international standards, enumeration of rights, non-discrimination, refugees and displaced persons, international agreements, law on freedom of religion and legal position of churches and religious communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina of 2004, criminal code of 2003, inciting national, racial or religious hatred, discord or hostility, infringement of the equality of individuals and citizens, breach of right to equal treatment at work, aggravated theft, disturbing religious services, and defiling a grave or a corpse. It also briefly explains the Labour Code of 1999 as amended up to 2003, and the Law on the Human Rights Ombudsman of 2004, as amended up to 2006.
