Chapter Summary

The text of the short tractate Dominicus Gundissalinus (Wrongly Attributed to Boethius): Maamar ha-eḥad ve-ha-aḥdut (De unitate et uno), which was translated by Judah Romano, is extant in six Hebrew manuscripts (and one additional fragment) with no significant diversities between the different versions. The original Latin was edited from six MSS by Paul Correns. As a basis for the following edition the author has used MS Günzburg, which is very close to two of the Parma manuscripts (2450 and 3058). For the sake of easy access to a comparative reading of the Hebrew and the Latin, the division of paragraphs in DUU has been used in the Hebrew text as well.
