Chapter Summary

This appendix presents a list of people from the jail of the city of Lisbon who were leaving for Portuguese Asia and the Sena River (of Mozambique) to serve His Majesty on the ship São Francisco Xavier, commanded by Lt. Captain Francisco de Sa e Saldanha, sentenced by the High Court. It also contains a list of prisoners who were cleared from Madeira and sent to Angola and a list of exile locations. It includes a table on the income and expenses of the colonies and regulations for the general prison for convicts in the province of Mozambique. Finally it presents a list of prisoners from the Mozambique and Angolan requesting pardons in the years 1911-1912, 1914, 1916 and a list of vagrants sentenced by the High Court of Porto to be transported to Cape Verde.
