Chapter Summary

This bibliography presents a list of reference books, articles, dictionary and Encyclopedia entries and published lectures of Richard A. Muller. Richard Muller has played a key role not only in deepening the understanding of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries; he has also demonstrated in the evolution of his own work the importance of sound historical method in exploring the nature of texts. The history of theology is not just the history of doctrinal debates, nor of exegesis. It is the history of real people acting in real concrete circumstances. His work, and the essays contained in the book, bear witness to that fact.
