This appendix of this book A Grammar of Atong presents the six texts of different genres. The first two texts represent the spontaneous speech of two and three unmarried men respectively. The third text is an informative text, tells about the summoning of spirits. The text that follows is an incantation. The next text is a fictional story about a Lazy King. In the last text, a description of the slash-and-burn agricultural cycle is given. All texts are represented almost exactly as they were recorded.
