This appendix presents a map of Memphite sites and map of provincial sites were drawn by David S. Anderson relevant to discussion of general structure of the Old Kingdom economy and its key relationships by examining a myriad of data, but focusing particularly on archaeological data. The map section of Memphite sites (North to South) includes Giza; Heit el-Ghurob; Nazlet Batran; Abu Sir; Saqqara; and Dahshur. The map section of Provincial Sites (North to South) include: Kom el-Hisn; Hawawish; Nag ad-Deir; el-Tarif; Dakhla (including Ayn Asil and other sites); el-Kab; Hierakonpolis; and Elephantine.
