Chapter Summary

This chapter examines the names of Kassite rulers linguistically and explores what they mean in the historical and cultural context. The term Kassites refers not only to the Kassite period, but also Kassite ruler of the Old Babylonian period. Twenty-one years later, in the 30th year of Samsu-iluna, written down management certificate that is currently the oldest evidence of Kassite Kings. Specifically, it is mentioned that two kings of Kassite army received with names Tigzil and Isiknit. In several documents found in Terqa to find the year called "Year Kastilijase the king created righteousness", "year Kastilijase the King created the second time justice", year Kastilijase the king made the statue of (God's) Astapi'el, the son of the king of Terqa", year Kastilijase the king hit the Sutaer".
