Chapter Summary

The text Tablettes sumeriennes de Shuruppak presented in this chapter was published by R. Jestin with 302 copies in 1937. The text contains a list of local, personal, and professional names of gods and the semicircular counting signs. It remains to be clarified whether the mention of Uruk or Irigal at end of the text allows the conclusion that this text were not compiled in Shuruppak but in Uruk 3S 302 would be an import board from Uruk. This would mean that the eight sections were put together in Uruk, each separated by blank lines that are related to people who are in front of it or behind it called, without semicircular signs. The original text of the chapter is in German.
