Chapter Summary

This chapter presents the sermons relating to the loving-kindness of the Lord in accepting penitents. The sermon says that even if man rebelled against His spirit, he will be blessed by Him. Even though man had much sinned, he will receive His blessing which is infinite. The Lord can turn man's premeditated sins into merits when he repents out of love. The mercy of the Lord is everlasting in that He receives penitents. The main point of the sermon, is to point out greatness of His mercy towards one concerning repentance. The Lord does act towards us according to the attribute of judgment, rather God will forget a part of our iniquity. But He, being full of compassion, forgives iniquity.
