This chapter explains the study of the verbal system of the Indo-European parent language and its daughter languages in recent decades. The study of the verbal system addresses the connection between the findings of the Indo-European and the Slavic research and represents the continuity of the diachronic development of Slavonic in the verbal morphology corresponding to the modern knowledge. The development of the morphological skeleton of the Slavic verb is also considered in the study. In this study, Aorist is distinguished between a Slavic asigmatic and a Slavic sigmatic.
