Chapter Summary

This index presents a list of terms and concepts relevant to the study of Luis de Molina. Molina was the first Jesuit to write such a massive work, setting the pace for subsequent Jesuit discussions. Molina's theoretical influence on developments in theology and philosophy, the Wirkungsgeschichte, is focused on two aspects: a "traditional", and in some sense "necessary", one that deals with the 17th century, including Leibniz and his followers, and a perhaps more surprising reference to Kant's short hint about Ludewig Molina, which indicates a deeper correlation between the two approaches.

Keywords: Jesuits; Kant; Leibniz; Luis de Molina; philosophy
