This chapter presents notes on the contributors relevant to the discussion on Chinese studies in the Netherlands presented in Chinese Studies in the Netherlands: Past, Present and Future. The book focuses on Chinese studies at Leiden. It highlights that these Chinese studies are visible in multidisciplinary, China-focused undergraduate and graduate programmes and programme tracks. With regard to research, Chinese studies are part of the Leiden University Institute for Area Studies, with two faculty members holding joint appointments with the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics.
