Chapter Summary

One of the longest of the Byzantine texts is the Narratio; its interest is not in the least diminished by its open use of other material. This section quotes from section 4 on, the first three sections being only a resume of the New Testament Andrew. The most Blessed and First-Called Andrew, crossing like a falling star from the East to the West, preached in every city Christ to be God's Son. Going through Thessaly and Greece, he founded in these cities the mystery of the grace of God's Anointed and went on to Achaia.
