Chapter Summary

The extraordinary importance of eschatological Scripture Habakukk 2, 3 is hardly discussed apart from the special position of Habakukk 2, 4, so that location, which provides the Cardinal support of his doctrine of justification for Paul. Habakukk 2, 3, 4 denote the faith of the early Church and compendium of eschatological expectation. An important link in letters is undoubtedly the Old Testament from prophecy to represent, on which a substantial late Jewish tradition exists. The messianic-eschatological coinage of the terms as they stopped in late Judaism is taken by Christianity. The quote Habakukk 2, 4, therefore, proves the Testimony of the late Jewish expectation, if not merely the post-Christian teaching as an argument to highlight the mutual use in Paul and Hebrews really. The original text of the chapter is in German.

Keywords: Christianity; doctrine of justification; eschatological expectation; eschatological Scripture; Habakukk; Hebrews; Jewish tradition; late Judaism; Paul
