Chapter Summary

This front matter section of the book The Sēmeia in the Fourth Gospel: Tradition and Redaction contains a table of contents and abbreviations. The theological problem of the Fourth Gospel is as acute as the question of its origin. The importance of the Sēmeia is clearly illustrated by the most important controversy of the last decades about Johannine theology. The book shows that there are some conspicious seams and style differences between tradition and redaction.

Keywords: Fourth Gospel; Sēmeia
