Chapter Summary

In 1957, the Unzial fragment 0241 in the continuation VI a list of the Greek manuscripts of the New Testament is included which had to be made with the note "still without a permanent location. It took a fortunate circumstance, to learn more about these fragments, or rather to recognize the already recorded as 0241 pieces at the opportunity arises. In this chapter, now is in addition to the more detail there and an overall description of the narrow ribbon morocco, in which the fragments are involved, a new reading of the New Testament. Overall, the band, which consists of 26 modern parchment leaves and is bound in red morocco, contains 17 fragments of different size and origin. A critical evaluation of the text fragments of 0241 has to be made objectively between W and P, also regarding the formalities.
