Chapter Summary

This bibliography presents a list of books and reference material cited for the book From Plight to Solution: A Jewish Framework for Understanding Paul's View of the Law in Galatians and Romans. The book re-examines the possibility that Paul's view of the law owes its origin to an eschatological pattern common within some expressions of Judaism at the time he wrote. This re-examination of Paul in light of his Jewish heritage shows that he neither distorts Jewish soteriology nor provides evidence that first century Judaism was generally a meritorious religion, but that he applies to Christ's death and the coming of the Spirit a common concept within ancient Judaism.
