Chapter Summary

This chapter introduces an overview of the key concepts discussed in the book Willensstruktur und Handlungsorganisation in Kants Theorie der praktischen Freiheit. The theory of human freedom and free human arbitrariness, free will, is one of the most fascinating subject areas of philosophical literature, because it opens up contexts that are relevant for describing and understanding human existence. In the philosophical history of the concept of human freedom, free will, it is assumed that human actors are typically able to sit on stimuli, inclinations, desires and instincts. Kant's theory of practical freedom includes a comprehensive theory of action organization that systematically integrates all relevant action aspects. Kant's theory of practical freedom and consequently his theory of action organization are designed based on a controlled, deliberate self-determination. The chapter discusses the constitutive function of principles in German Idealism. The original text of the chapter is in German.

Keywords: action organization; German idealism; human arbitrariness; human freedom; philosophical literature
