This index presents a list of reference passages cited from Bible, authors and supplements to Vetus Testamentum relevant to the discussion of surveying in broad terms the more obvious and widely accepted developmental features of these prophetic tales (the Elijah cycle in 1 Kings 17-19, the battle accounts in 1 Kings 20 and 22, the story of Elijah in 2 Kings 1, and the Elisha narratives in 2 Kings 2-8 and 13). The relationship between these Northern prophetic legends and Dtr's composition of Kings are also discussed in the book.
