Chapter Summary

This section deals with economic and social council resolution 1870. The Economic and Social Council, recalls the resolution X adopted on 12 May 1968 by the International Conference on Human Rights held at Teheran. It takes note of the reports of the Working Group on model rules of procedure for United Nations bodies dealing with violations of human rights, and brings those reports to the attention of all organs and bodies of the United Nations dealing with questions of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
