Chapter Summary

This appendix presents the Latin translation of the Panoplia Dogmatike, which was prepared by the Italian humanist Pietro Francesco Zini, and published in Venice in 1555 during the years of the Council of Trent. A reprint of this Latin translation followed in 1556 (Lyon), in 1575 (Venice), in 1577 (Lyon) and later the translation was included in Bibliotheca Veterum Patrum. Fragments of this translation were included by Margarin de la Bigne in the authoritative collection of Church Fathers Sacra bibliotheca sanctorum partum. The Latin translation of the Panoplia is known only from the printed editions and there are no attested manuscripts.
