Chapter Summary

This index presents a list of modern author names that occur in the book The Cave 4 Apocryphon of Jeremiah and the Qumran Jeremianic Traditions. This book is a substantial revision of the author doctoral dissertation, "Re-Presentation and Emerging Authority of the Traditions of Jeremiah in Second Temple Judaism", at the University of Manchester in 2009. The original work was a much broader exploration of traditions directly tied to or more allusively associated with the prophet Jeremiah throughout Second Temple Jewish literature. What appears in the book is a more focussed study of these traditions strictly as they appear in the Qumran scrolls, and more precisely through the lens of the Jeremianic composition, the Apocryphon of Jeremiah C.

Keywords: Cave 4 Apocryphon; Jewish literature; Qumran Jeremianic traditions; Qumran scrolls; Second Temple Judaism
