Chapter Summary

This index presents a list of proper nouns, terms and concepts relevant to the discussion of Anonymus Aurelianensis III (AAIII), which has attracted attention within the field of the history of philosophy but systematic studies of the text as a whole have so far been impeded by the lack of a critical edition. The results of a systematic comparison of AA III with the Florentine scholia and to the Greek commentaries by Alexander of Aphrodisias, Ammonius, and Philoponus are reported in the notes. A full analysis of AA III's position in the development of logic still remains to be performed.

Keywords: Alexander of Aphrodisias; Anonymus Aurelianensis III (AAIII); Florentine scholia
