Chapter Summary

This chapter presents the Hebrew-Arabic and the Arabic-Hebrew glossaries referring only to the treatise "On the Soul". The Hebrew citations follow Ṭodros Ṭodrosi's translation; the Arabic ones, the Cairo edition. In the Hebrew-Arabic glossary, the first appearance of the Hebrew term is cited according to the folio numbers in the London manuscript. The number that follows the folio number refers to the line numbers in this edition. In the Arabic-Hebrew glossary, the Arabic terms are cited according to the marginal pagination of the Cairo edition. In most instances, the English provided in both glossaries is taken from Fazlur Rahman's Avicenna's Psychology.

Keywords: Ṭodros Ṭodrosi; Fazlur Rahman; London manuscript
