The book contains twenty-three disputations of the Synopsis. The disputations are divided into five clusters that show the basic lines of scholastic Reformed theology: Holy Scripture, the Triune God, the creation of the world, humanity as creatures fallen into sin, God's address to humanity in Law and Gospel.
