Contradictory juxtaposition is the common structure knitting Job 28 and its surrounding chapters together. The rhetorical impacts of contradictory juxtapositions in Job 22-31 is investigated at the two levels of rhetorical analysis: (1) the flow of argument in the story; and (2) the audience.
