Malenchus parvus sp. n. from Mexico is characterised by a small body, lateral field beginning a short distance posterior to stylet knobs, stylet 9-10 μm, and tail with small mucro. M. solovjovae sp. n. from two populations from Karelia, USSR, has thick cuticle with very wide annuli, stylet 8-9 μm, and the lateral field originating at stylet level. A bisexual population of M. leiodermis is described from Mexico.
