In der routinemäßigen Resistenzprüfung (Topfballenbonitur, 7-cm-Topf) von Solanum tuberosum subsp. andigenum-Hybriden (H1-Resistenz von C.P.C. 1673 und C.P.C. 1685) gegen Globodera rostochiensis, Pathotyp 1 (= Ro 1) wird an resistenten Pflanzen nur ein Teil der entwickelten Zysten erfaßt. Mit steigender Anfangsverseuchung (300, 3000, 30.000 Larven/Topf) erhöht sich an anfälligen und an resistenten Pflanzen die Zysten- und Larvenzahl der neuen Generation. Die Vermehrung an resistenten Pflanzen erfolgt nicht zufällig und die Ausprägung des genetisch bedingten Resistenzgrades ist modifizierbar.
