Specimens of a new species belonging to the genus Filenchus Andrássy, 1954 and three known species Coslenchus areolatus (Egunjobi, 1967) Siddiqi, 1978, Ditylenchus kheirii Fortuner & Maggenti, 1987 and Duotylenchus bilineatus Saha & Khan, 1982 were found in soil samples collected from the rhizosphere of banana in Sindh areas, Pakistan. F. sindhicus sp.n. has a long and thin body, a short stylet and a hooked tail.
