Miculenchus salvus Andrássy, 1959 is reported from Loch Ness, Scotland. It has been originally identified as Zanenchus salmae Siddiqi, 1979; the transfer of this species to Miculenchus Andrássy, 1959 and its synonymy with M. salvus, Andrássy, 1959 is proposed. The zigzag structure of the body cuticle and the male penial tube is illustrated by Nomarski interference-contrast microscopy.
