L'auteur reprend ici, en confrontation avec la proposition de M. Girard, l'étude de la structure littéraire du Psaume lxvi. Il commence par étudier la structure de chacune des unités qui composent chacun des volets 1-8, 9-12, et 13-20, puis celle de chacun d'eux en son ensemble. Suit l'étude structurelle des rapports de chacun avec les deux autres. Le volet central 9-12 étant structuré selon un chiasme, le psaume apparaît finalement structuré lui-même selon un chiasme où 1-8 appellent 13-20 tandis que 9-11a appellent 11b-12.
