[A taxonomical study was made of species of the genus Euchirella recently collected from the Flores Sea, Indonesia. Six species, E. bella Giesbrecht, 1888, E. curticauda Giesbrecht, 1888, E. galeata Giesbrecht, 1888, E. maxima Wolfenden, 1905, E. messinensis indica Vervoort, 1949, and E. pulchra (Lubbock, 1863), were recorded in the present samples. Descriptions, measurements, and figures are given for all these species, along with a review of their distribution over the world's oceans, with taxonomical remarks, ecological notes, and restricted synonymies.

Une étude taxonomique a été réalisée chez les espèces du genre Euchirella récemment collectées de la mer de Flores, Indonésie. Six espèces d'Euchirella, E. bella Giesbrecht, 1888, E. curticauda Giesbrecht, 1888, E. galeata Giesbrecht, 1888, E. maxima Wolfenden, 1905, E. messinensis indica Vervoort, 1949, et E. pulchra (Lubbock, 1856) ont été identifiées dans les échantillons.
