A new species of crayfish from Atezca, near Molango, Hidalgo, Mexico, is described. Procambarus (Villalobosus) achilli sp. nov., can be placed in the erichsoni-group, being morphologically similar to Procambarus (V.) contrerasi and Procambarus (V.) erichsoni, from which it can be distinguished by a gonopod with a mesial process shorter than the terminal elements, flattened, and directed anteriorly; a triangular central projection, divided into two processes of different size, independent from caudal and cephalic processes; a cephalic process directed distally, originating on the caudal process; and an annulus ventralis semicircular in shape, with convergent anterior margins, forming prominent walls.

Se describe una nueva especie de la localidad de Atezca, cerca de Molango, Hidalgo, México. Procambarus (Villalobosus) achilli sp. nov. puede ser colocada en el grupo erichsoni, siendo morfológicamente similar a Procambarus (V.) contrerasi y Procambarus (V.) erichsoni, de las cuales se distingue por tener un gonópodo con un proceso mesial más corto que el resto de los elementos terminales, aplanado, dirigido anteriormente; una proyección central dividida en dos procesos de diferente talla, independiente de los procesos caudal y cefálico; un proceso cefálico dirigido distalmente, originándose sobre la base del proceso caudal, y un annulus ventralis semicircular con los márgenes convergentes anteriores divididos, formando prominentes paredes.
