Gammarus abstrusus, a new gammarid from Longmendong Cave in the southwestern part of Sichuan Province, China, is reported. A detailed description and illustrations of this freshwater amphipod are presented and differences with related species are discussed. Gammarus abstrusus, un nouveau Gammaridae de la grotte de Longmendong, dans la région sud-occidentale de la province de Sichuan, Chine, est rapporté. Une description détaillée et des illustrations de cet amphipode d'eaux douces sont présentées et les différences avec les espèces apparentées sont discutées.
