A new species of stygobitic cirolanid, Speocirolana xilitla n. sp., is described from Cueva de las Catarinas, in the environs of the town of Xilitla, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The new species represents the thirteenth species in the genus, extending its range 80 km to the south. The new species is characterized by an antenna composed of 51 articles, a rounded pleotelson, a uropodal protopod not reaching beyond the posterior margin of the pleotelson, and an exopod that is two-thirds the length of the endopod. Speocirolana xilitla is morphologically and geographically close to those species of the genus which also have a rounded pleotelson: S. pubens, S. prima, and S. pelaezi. Se describe una nueva especie de cirolánido estigobítico, Speocirolana xilitla n. sp., de la Cueva de las Catarinas, en las cercanías del poblado de Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, México. La nueva especie representa la treceava especie del género, extendiendo su intervalo de distribución 80 km hacia el sur. La nueva especie se caracteriza por una antena compuesta de 51 artículos, un pleotelson redondeado, un protopodito del urópodo que no alcanza más allá del margen posterior del pleotelson y un exópodo que es dos tercios la longitud del endópodo. Speocirolana xilitla es morfológica y geográficamente más cercana a las especies del género con pleotelson redondeado: S. pubens, S. prima y S. pelaezi.
