A new sand-hopper, Talorchestia brucei sp. nov., is reported from beaches in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. It differs from other species in the genus Talorchestia (sensu stricto) in having relatively few robust setae on the telson. Une nouvelle puce de mer, Talorchestia brucei, a été trouvée sur les plages de Darwin, Territoires du Nord, Australie. Cette espèce diffère des autres espèces du genre Talorchestia (sensu stricto), en ayant relativement peu de soies robustes (6 par lobes) sur le telson.
