Four species of Crangonidae and Glyphocrangonidae were collected during a survey of the deep-water fauna off the west coast of the southern part of the Baja California Peninsula, Mexico. A total of 168 specimens were collected, with a clear dominance of Glyphocrangon spinulosa Faxon, 1893 (85% of collected specimens). A new northernmost distribution limit is set for Paracrangon areolata Faxon, 1893, Sclerocrangon atrox Faxon, 1893 and Glyphocrangon alata Faxon, 1893, while first records are made available for G. spinulosa off the west coast of the Baja California Peninsula.
