Trois espèces du genre Gnathophyllum (Decapoda Natantia Caridea) sont signalées des eaux de la Floride. G. modestum Hay est redécrite et illustrée, et sa distribution étendue de la Caroline du Nord à la Floride et aux Bahamas. G. minuscularium est placée en synonymie avec G. americanum Guérin. Une espèce nouvelle, G. circellum, est décrite. L'auteur décrit la coloration de chaque espèce et figure les marques colorées distinctives.
