Huit espèces de stomatopodes sont signalées de la baie de Sagami. Deux d'entre elles sont de nouvelles espèces de Squilla; deux autres, Harpiosquilla annandalei Kemp et Squilla gonypetes Kemp, n'avaient pas encore été signalées des eaux japonaises. Les espèces restantes étaient déjà connues du Japon.
