Im Südchinesischen Meer wurden zwei geschlechtsreife Weibchen einer neuen Copepodenart auf den Kiemen von Nephrops sinensis gefunden. Diese Parasiten werden hier als Nicothoe analata sp. nov. beschrieben. N. analata ist N. astaci sehr ähnlich, unterscheidet sich aber von dieser Art durch die Struktur seines Thorax.
