Von den bei West Runton gefundenen Laophontidae ist Laophonte danversae neu für die Wissenschaft. Diese Art und ein einzelnes Männchen, dessen generische Position ungewiß ist, wurden beschrieben. L. parvula, L. inornata und H. denticulata sind neu für die Nordsee. L. foxi wurde erstmals außerhalb eines Aquariums in der freien Natur gefunden. Eigenarten der genannten und anderer Arten wurden diskutiert.
