Des observations sont faites sur les espèces indo-ouest-pacifiques du genre Palaemonella Dana, 1852, notamment sur les synonymies, la morphologie, les hôtes et la distribution. Une clef d'identification est fournie et la validité de deux espèces proches, P. pottsi (Borradaile) and P. rotumana (Borradaile) confirmée, les caractères morphologiques distinctifs étant décrits et figurés. Deux cartes illustrent la distribution des espèces du genre Palaemonella.
