Description of two new species of Diastyloides (Cumacea, Diastylidae): D. atlantica and D. ornata. This genus was previously known from the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. D. atlantica is the first species of Diastyloides found in the South Atlantic. The genus occurs essentially in bathyal and abyssal depths. A key to the species is provided.
