Die Postlarven (Nisto) von Scyllarides astori und Evibacus princeps werden beschrieben und abgebildet. Ein Individuum von S. astori wurde ungefähr 1700 Seemeile westlich der Galapagos Inseln im Plankton gefangen. Sehr wahrscheinlich war es von den Galapagos Inseln mit dem Südäquatorialstrom als Larve dorthin getrieben worden. Die überbrückte Entfernung ist viel zu klein, als dass die treibenden Larven eine Besiedlung der mittelpazifischen Inseln westlich der "Ostpazifischen Barriere" ermöglichen könnte. Andere Nisto Stadien wurden bei den Galapagos Inseln gefangen. E. princeps wurde im Magen eines Tunfisches (Thunnus thynnus) vor der Westküste von Panama gefunden.
